Heavy Duty Equipment Defensive Driving Training is a specialized safety and operational programme designed to equip operators with the skills and knowledge required to safely maneuver and control heavy-duty equipment and plant vehicles within industrial, construction, mining, oil & gas, ports, and logistics environments. The training focuses on hazard recognition, equipment-specific risks, controlled movement, and strict adherence to safety procedures to prevent collisions, rollovers, property damage, and injuries.
The programme is intended for operators of heavy-duty equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, forklifts, graders, cranes (mobile), and other industrial plant vehicles, as well as supervisors and safety officers. It is aligned with FRSC regulations (where applicable), ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management Systems, HSE standards, and corporate operational safety policies, ensuring legal compliance, reduced incident rates, and improved site safety performance. Training delivery integrates classroom instruction, visual demonstrations, site-based scenarios, and supervised practical exercises.
