Welcome to Defensive Driving Training Academy Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, training booking platform, training services, assessments, certifications, and all related products and services offered by Defensive Driving Training Academy Ltd (“DDT Academy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Our services include defensive driving, safety driving, executive driving, motorcycle riding, truck driving, emergency driver improvement, and related road safety training programmes.

By accessing our website, registering for a course, booking training services, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  1. DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of these Terms:

Academy means Defensive Driving Training Academy Ltd.

Participant means any individual attending or enrolled in any training programme.

Client means an individual, company, organization, government agency, or institution engaging our services.

Training Programme means any classroom, virtual, practical, assessment, certification, consultancy, or advisory service provided by DDT Academy.

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using our website or registering for any training programme, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are at least 18 years old or have appropriate authorization where applicable.
  1. TRAINING REGISTRATION

Participants may register through:

  • Website Booking Forms
  • Corporate Nominations
  • Email Registration
  • Physical Registration Forms
  • Authorized Representatives

Registration shall only be considered complete upon:

  • Submission of Required Information
  • Acceptance by DDT Academy
  • Payment Confirmation where applicable

DDT Academy reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any registration at its discretion.

  1. TRAINING FEES & PAYMENT

All training fees must be paid in accordance with the invoice or quotation issued by DDT Academy.

Payment Requirements

  • Full payment may be required before commencement of training.
  • Corporate clients may be granted approved credit terms where applicable.
  • Training slots are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer
  • Corporate payment arrangements
  • Other approved payment methods

All applicable taxes, levies, and statutory charges remain the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated.

  1. DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS

Promotional discounts may be offered periodically.

Unless expressly stated:

  • Discounts cannot be combined.
  • Discounts have no cash value.
  • Promotional offers may be withdrawn without prior notice.
  • DDT Academy reserves the right to modify eligibility requirements.
  1. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Participant Cancellation

Requests for cancellation or rescheduling must be submitted in writing.

Subject to administrative review:

  • Training fees already paid may be transferred to another approved date.
  • Administrative charges may apply.
  • No-show participants may forfeit training fees.

Corporate Training

Corporate training dates may be rescheduled subject to:

  • Instructor Availability
  • Venue Availability
  • Mutual Agreement
  1. TRAINING ATTENDANCE

Participants are expected to:

  • Arrive on time
  • Attend all scheduled sessions
  • Participate actively in practical exercises
  • Comply with safety instructions
  • Respect facilitators and fellow participants

DDT Academy reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate.

  1. PRACTICAL DRIVING SESSIONS

Where Practical Driving Exercises are included:

Participants must:

  • Hold a valid driver’s Licence where required
  • Follow all Instructor Directions
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with all safety rules

DDT Academy may refuse participation in practical sessions where a participant:

  • Appears Impaired
  • Presents a Safety Risk
  • Is Medically Unfit
  • Refuses to comply with Instructions
  1. HEALTH & FITNESS DECLARATION

Participants are responsible for informing DDT Academy of any condition that may affect safe participation, including:

  • Medical Conditions
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Visual Impairments
  • Medication Affecting Alertness
  • Other safety-related Concerns

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect participation eligibility.

  1. CERTIFICATION

Certificates may be issued upon successful completion of training requirements.

Certification may require:

  • Attendance Compliance
  • Completion of Assessments
  • Satisfactory Practical Performance
  • Compliance with Academy Standards

DDT Academy reserves the right to withhold certification where requirements have not been met.

Certificates remain the property of DDT Academy until formally issued.

  1. ASSESSMENT & EXAMINATION

Participants may be required to complete:

  • Pre-Training Assessments
  • Post-Training Assessments
  • Practical Evaluations
  • Competency Demonstrations

Assessment results are final unless an administrative review is approved.

  1. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

Participants shall not:

  • Engage in abusive behaviour
  • Harass instructors or participants
  • Damage training equipment
  • Use illegal substances
  • Attend training under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Record training sessions without authorization

Violation may result in removal without refund.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All training materials, including:

  • Manuals
  • Presentations
  • Videos
  • Assessments
  • Checklists
  • Templates
  • Course content

Remain the intellectual property of Defensive Driving Training Academy Ltd unless otherwise stated.

Participants may not:

  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Sell
  • Publish
  • Modify

Any training material without written permission.

  1. WEBSITE USE

Users agree not to:

  • Interfere with website operations
  • Upload malicious software
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Use automated data extraction tools
  • Misrepresent their identity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is detected.

  1. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Personal information collected through our website and training programmes shall be processed in accordance with:

Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs should notify DDT Academy in writing before training commences.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

While DDT Academy takes reasonable measures to ensure safety and quality delivery:

  • Participation remains at the participant’s own risk.
  • DDT Academy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation or website use.
  • Training completion does not guarantee immunity from accidents, incidents, or regulatory enforcement actions.
  1. FORCE MAJEURE

DDT Academy shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural Disasters
  • Government Restrictions
  • Civil Unrest
  • Epidemics or Pandemics
  • Extreme Weather Conditions
  • Utility Failures
  • Transportation Disruptions
